After a 12 month stint coworking at Leeds’ Futurelabs, it was time for a change of scenery. Futurelabs moved to their new home at Platform near Leeds station during the same period (Christmas 2018) so it felt like a good time to coincide the switch.

Why? New people, new places let a gust of fresh air into life and shake up your routines. Always a sensible idea.

After a short coworking sabbatical in the new year, dabbling at Bradford’s Assembly coworking space, I’ve returned to cowork in Leeds city centre. My new address is now Wizu Workspace, Leeming Building, Ludgate Hill, Leeds LS2 7HZ.

My new coworking home is a prestigious grade 1 building, right on top of Leeds’ Kirkgate market which oozes local history. Inside is easy on the eyes too – set out like the curious lovechild of IKEA and an independent coffee shop.

I’ll be working here flexibly for the foreseeable future while I divide my time between freelancing, teaching and some DIY renovation.
