Fresh-faced identical-looking scenesters decorate the tired looking Cockpit couches, strewn about like awkward little muso-hermits clung to the walls of the bar, furtively conversing with mirror images of themselves. All devoted fans of course, clinging onto their tickets as if they were golden tickets to Willy Wonka’s Music Factory.

Just one of many acerbic little observations peppered throughout an article I wrote reviewing Two Door Cinema Club’s performance at The Cockpit in Leeds. This review was written for Safeconcerts in my capacity as a freelance writer, contributing articles, photography and gig/festival reviews.

You can read the full gig review as a published article on Safeconcerts.
