Improv for teams & progressive workplaces in Leeds
Interactive, team-building improvisation workshops for SMEs that strengthen communication, creativity and confidence in your team
Improvisation is the art of responding in the moment
With its roots in comedy, theatre and music - improv is creative and fun. Yet more importantly - it helps people adapt, collaborate, and express ideas more freely, while helping them let go of getting things wrong or pressure to be right.
Improvisation also trains your staff to listen and focus more attentively, trust themselves and others more deeply, and build on contributions from everyone in the team.
These are skills that make your team more resilient, innovative, and engaged - basically happier!
HOW TEAMS THRIVE with improvisation training
- Encourage quieter employees to think, speak up and act with confidence.
- Build more creativity, strong self-leadership & openness to new ideas.
- Help teams stay grounded & adaptable in uncertain situations.
- Create a culture where diverse thinking is valued.
- Boost wellbeing, improve resilience and reduce stress.
CONFIDENT communication
Improv can sound intimidating, but it's possible to improvise without ever acting or performing.
My team-building workshops instead focus more on connection and communication games and exercises, with easily accessible themes like:
- ‘Think on your feet’
- ‘Speak-up with clarity and calm’
- ‘Respond confidently in the moment’
Did you know?
Improvisation changes the brain, optimising it for communication and creativity? Scientific research shows that improv has numerous psychological benefits for wellbeing, resilience and confidence.
